Autumn has well and truly arrived, but it’s not all bad. A new season means new shoes, in my world it does anyway!
This season there are decorative flats and classic brogues to block heels and stilettos. It’s most definitely time to start shopping. So when I received an email asking if I would like to review a pair of Jakes Shoes I immediately replied “Yes please”, wouldn’t you?!
At the moment I’m trying to cultivate a “work wardrobe” to remove this particular decision making from my world – it basically comprises of black trousers, a selection of black and white shirts, black boots and I have now added these Geox Black Patent Lace Up Brogue Shoes to my work wardrobe.

Jakes Shoes are not new, they were established in 1975 and being local to them I remember buying many pairs from the Stockport store. I had however forgotten them and they sell a huge range of shoes for men, woman, kids and accessories online as well from stores located in Manchester Arndale Centre and in Stockport town centre. Now I have been reminded I will be back!
