Review NEW Fireman Sam DVD

HiT Entertainment sent us a copy of the new Fireman Sam DVD for Lil H to check out and review.

The “Ready For Action” DVD contains five episodes of the newly CG Animated madeover Fireman Sam.  The storylines are based around Sam being the his usual flame-fighting Hero with the Pontypandy crew off to rescue friends in need.  From firey vegetables, water rescue and even some karaoke, there’s a heap of trouble and many adventures to look forward to with Fireman Sam:  Ready for Action DVD.

Fireman Sam, Ready For Action DVDLil H has only recently had any interest in Fireman Sam, my mum has one of the old school series on DVD at hers for him.  He really enjoyed this and we have watched it twice but I have stealthed it away now – I am saving it for an excited return in the event of a rainy day during the Easter Holidays.

H has asked for it a few times which is always a good indication of it getting Lil H’s thumbs up and I like the fact its only 50 mins long so there is a natural break to turn the TV off compared to Disney feature length films.

Fireman Sam – Ready for Action is certificate U, has a running time of 50 minutes, was released on 14th March 2011, available to buy from www.hitstoreuk.com with 23% off for £9.99 (RRP £12.99)

No one ever comments on reviews due to ‘review snobbery’ i think. So here you go! This review made me laugh as Monty has started to navigate his way round youtube (supervised.) Some recent viewing delights have included The lion king, Beauty and the beast and Fireman sam. In spanish. I think a Fireman sam dv may be in order!

Ooh, I’m obviously not a ‘review snob’ either. Good idea on stealth stashing for rainy days.
