Playing family games together is one of the many lovely additions of my children growing up increasingly popular at Villa Lancaster especially as the weather is deteriorating and rainy days are on the increase. I love the sound of Lil H and Diva G squawking with laughter as they score or win. Esdevium Games sent us a couple of games to review and they also have one of each for me to giveaway too, perfect timing for October half term and Christmas.
Fly Trap Action Board Game
is a game for children over 4 which can be played with 2 to 4 players and is a big hit in this household. The FlyTrap spins and turns and the goal is to shoot as many flies into the FlyTrap’s open mouth as possible. Other players push their pumps to close the trap to try to stop others from scoring. Its fast and fun and makes for a perfect Christmas gift.
We are waiting for cousin Dan to come over to play Hey That’s My Fish Board Game
as it is aimed at children aged 8+. This is a family game accessible for all but we need cousin Dan to team up with Lil H and Diva G for ease. Like all good children’s games it is easy to pick up but difficult to master and there are rewards for mastering the strategy but the aim of the game is to collect as many fish with your penguins as possible. A great addition to the games cupboard for those rainy autumn and winter days ahead.
