A Family Day Out in London

The London Eye

This amazing modern marvel stands at 135 metres tall, is the world’s tallest observation wheel and is one of the biggest attractions in the UK. Each glass capsule takes the riders slowly above the city to unveil a view like no other. This is the only place in London where you can take in all the biggest sites at once. The spectacular ride takes around 30 minutes to complete and is situated on the famous South Bank of the River Thames which allows easy access from all transport links.

London Zoo

The World’s first scientific zoo is a lovely idea for a family outing. Exhibits such as the Butterfly Paradise, Into Africa and Meet the Monkeys, where gusts are lead on an exciting walk to meet some of the zoo’s cutest inhabitants, means that there really is something for everyone at London zoo! A Trip to the West End

West End musicals have been a part of London life since the ages of Shakespeare and still have so much to offer. The West End is the continuous home to some world renowned stage titles, there will be no lack of shows, in fact, the family will be spoiled for choice! Remember to book in advance for a famous musical though, you really want to avoid disappointment at the box office and there are loads of good deals and cheap theatre tickets for the West End online. Princess Diana Memorial Playground

For a really relaxing time, why not head to the Princess Diana Memorial Gardens. The playground situated in the middle of the garden is home to a huge wooden pirate ship! There are also various toys, play sculptures and park apparatus that will be no end of fun for children of all ages. Adults can stroll through the beautiful gardens safe in the knowledge of the top security at the playground.
