We were sent the Chicco Junior Urban Dolls Pram to review a few months ago. Diva G, now 8yo still loves playing with her babies and loves pushing them round like a real mummy in a pram.

Of course, she isn’t interested in any old dolls pram, the best doll prams look just like the ones real babies use. HTI is one of the UK’s largest independently owned designer and manufacturer of children’s toys including a large range of ‘real life’ dolls prams. Diva G was delighted to receive the Chicco Junior Urban Pram to review.

Playing ‘grown ups’ is the ultimate form of role play and an incredibly realistic pram is a great way to spark imagination for your little one’s doll. Role play is an important part of child development, as it builds confidence, creativity communication, physical development and problem solving. My daughter has always loved playing babies and in an ever technology and screen heavy world I am more than happy for this to carry on for as long as possible – make believe trumps tech – ALWAYS!

Quite a few of my daughters 8 and 9 year old pals still love playing babies too, here’s Diva G in her element “babysitting” one of our favourite little people and this pram and it’s adjustable handle meant it worked just as well for this 3yo Princess.

This Chicco pram looks just like the real thing. Little ones can copy Mum and Dad and be the envy of their friends with this sophisticated model. The underseat shopping basket, adjustable hood and nappy bag make the urban pram practical as well as stylish.

Like most prams / pushchairs it arrived boxed, requiring some assembly. It took just a couple of minutes to clip in the wheels and attach the carrycot to the base and then we were ready to go.

The Junior Urban Pram has a RRP of £39.99 and is available from all good toy stores on and offline.
