There are few things in life cuter than a little girl living out their 3 year old dream of becoming a ballerina, donning tights, a leotard, satin ballet pumps and a tutu and pirouetting to their hearts content.  Diva G has started ballet lessons.  Her life is complete.  Once a week she gets to dress head to toe in pink and flutter like a butterfly around the guide hall.  Sadly parents don’t get to stay at her class, happily I get to have 40 minutes to myself in a coffee shop but I would like to see more of her dancing than the glimpses through the crack in the door I manage because I am missing out on this…

So I didn’t hesitate when Prima Princessa got in touch about their new DVD “Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker” aimed specifically at young children and designed to get children dancing along to the Birmingham Royal Ballet performing excerpts from The Nutcracker.  It is narrated for children by a cartoon fairy-ballerina and breaks from the story with intervals to practice and dance along to fun ballet step demonstrations featuring students from the School of American Ballet, the official academy of the New York City Ballet.
My Prima Diva absolutely loves it and I absolutely love being able to see her dance.  I also have a copy of Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker DVD to giveaway to a lucky winner, a perfect Christmas present for any budding dancer, 60 minutes of ballet aimed at 3-6 years old, just gorgeous.  Simply leave me a blog comment telling me what ballet means to you or your little Prima.  Don’t worry if you don’t win Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker DVD is available for just £5.99 on Amazon.
