This blog post is coming to you all the way from sunny, yes really, sunny Cornwall! Family Lancaster is in our Summer residence in Port Isaac in Cornwall for some well deserved R&R and together time our first break all together since our fab Center Parcs break back in March.
The latest Center Parcs challenge, is to take to the water and make your own miniature sail boat. Given we are living by the sea and the local community hosted a raft race at the weekend we dropped the miniature part of the task and went BIG! I give you the GREAT BIG BATH BOAT …
Three full size baths lashed together made it all the way out to the buoy and back and placed in third place, yay go team! Look carefully and you will spy Lil H waving back from the “bath deck”!
It was a classically bonkers British event, spirits were high, a hog was roasting on the beach, the pub served its wares in plastic cups and the weather dished out a bit of sun and the odd shower but no one was deterred! No matter what the British weather throws at us, water fun is always an important part of our holidays and the lake at Center Parcs is central part of the Center Parcs experience.
For this months Center Parcs challenge, they want you to take to the water and make your own miniature sail boat! Get the family together to construct and decorate your boat, and then take it for its maiden voyage in your local pond, stream or lake. You could even set sail in your own bathtub if you’d like! For tips on making miniature boats that float and will go the difference check out the tips from James, Assistant Watersports Manager at Center Parcs here.
By getting creative with your family you could be in with a chance of becoming a Center Parcs Family Blogger and win a fun-filled family break at a Center Parcs village of your choice. The challenge closes on August 30th. Terms and conditions apply for full details click here.
