Do you remember back in February I announced that I was an ambassador for the Geronimo Festival that is taking place in Tatton park, in my very own stomping ground, Cheshire on 23rd-25th May? You can read my original post for details of some of the line ups and more details here…
Geronimo is a brand new to the festival scene for 2015 , a weekend of organised mayhem at Tatton Park in Cheshire, May 23 – 25. You can expect a line-up jam packed with some of the biggest names in children’s entertainment, including CBeebies favourites Mr Bloom, Katy Ashworth, Alex Winters and Cook & Line from Swashbuckle. Geronomites will also be able to enjoy den making, zip wires, donkey rides, circus shows, baby ballet, cooking workshops, storytelling, a petting farm, tree climbing, craft workshops and much more.
Recently announced additions include Sea Life Manchester who will be making a splash as they bring with them Geronimo’s very own Touch Pool where festival-goers can touch and feel the exciting sea creatures. Sea Life’s Breed Rescue Protect Workshop is a make and take craft workshop. Geronimites are also invited to track down Tyler the Turtle, the costume character who will be making special appearances every day.
Sea Life Manchester’s Barton Square neighbour LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is also bound to prove a hit with boys and girls alike as the Master Model Build workshops will be setting up base, perfect for all LEGO® aficionados to get creative. Bertie the LEGO® costume character will be meeting and greeting fans throughout the weekend.
Famous for it’s beautiful gardens and woodlands, Tatton Park has excellent motorway links and extensive on site parking. The whole programme is for the under 12s and tickets are on sale now priced £20.00pp. Children under the age of two go free. Each pass admits 4 people, one person in the group must be aged over 18 (NB children under the age of 2 years do not require a ticket). The winning family can attend on the day of their choice, either May 23, or May 24 or May 25. The date must be specified at time of confirming the prize. Travel and accommodation are not included. The prize is non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered. The prize is non transferable and ID will be required at time of collecting the ticket wristband upon arrival.
